THE HAGUE, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A residential care center caught fire late Saturday afternoon in Tilburg, a city in the southern Netherlands, leaving four people injured by smoke inhalation, local media reported.
The injured are receiving medical treatment, while about 200 residents were evacuated and taken to a nearby hotel.
According to the report, the fire broke out around 17:20 local time (1620 GMT) on the second floor of the center. It was put out roughly two hours later.
Emergency crews conducted room-by-room checks to ensure no one remained inside and to assess the extent of smoke conditions. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. ■
