NEW DELHI, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A massive explosion took place Friday night inside a police station in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.
Following the explosion, a fire engulfed the building and several vehicles parked inside its premises.
The explosion took place at Nowgam police station in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Immediately after the blast, many fire tenders and ambulances were rushed to the police station.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear. However, local media reports described it as an accidental blast.
Government forces have closed all the roads leading towards the police station. ■
