NEW DELHI, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Indian security forces killed six armed rebels, including two senior leaders, in the country's central state of Chhattisgarh, local police confirmed on Thursday.
The encounter took place in the forests inside the Indravati National Park in the state's Bijapur district.
The killed Naxals rebels collectively carried a bounty of 2.7 million Indian Rupees (around 30,440 U.S. dollars), Bijapur Superintendent of Police Jitendra Yadav told reporters. ■
