VIENTIANE, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Lao government is strengthening its commitment to developing the skills and capacities of young people, recognizing them as key drivers of the nation's future growth.
This vision was showcased during the sixth National Young Pioneer Camp, held in Lao capital Vientiane from Nov. 9 to 12, which brought together young pioneers aged 9 to 14 from across the country, along with representatives from relevant agencies, to exchange experiences, foster unity, and enhance their skills and sense of responsibility.
The event highlighted the growing sense of responsibility, unity, and readiness of Lao youth to carry forward the nation's mission.
Participants took part in a variety of activities and competitions focused on key social issues, including drug prevention, environmental protection, road safety, responsible technology use, and the application of artificial intelligence. ■
