BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 144 kilometers east of Yamada, Japan at 2204 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 39.36 degrees north latitude and 143.62 degrees east longitude. ■
