HANOI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The 15th National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam on Monday elected the new chief justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2021-2026 tenure, Vietnam News Agency reported.
Nguyen Van Quang, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, was elected to the position.
At the ongoing 10th session of the 15th NA, Quang took the oath of office in accordance with regulations.
On the same day, the top legislature also elected Do Van Chien as standing vice chairman of the NA for the 2021-2026 tenure, local daily Lao Dong reported. ■
