KABUL, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- A three-day exhibition titled "Pomegranate" opened in southern Afghanistan's Kandahar province, highlighting the country's growing potential in local production and trade, local media outlet Tolonews reported Monday.
The event features dozens of booths displaying a wide range of Afghan products, including agricultural goods, textiles, food items, and construction materials, the report said.
The exhibition aims to promote Afghan-made products, create new market opportunities for local producers, attract investment in domestic industries, and strengthen efforts to reduce reliance on imported goods, it said.
Over the past year, nationwide exhibitions have showcased domestic products, drawing the attention of both investors and consumers. ■
