ULAN BATOR, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia reported its coldest October in 2025 since temperature records began, the National Agency for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring said on Friday.
The country's average temperature last month was 4.5 degrees Celsius lower than a year earlier and 2.9 degrees below the long-term average, marking the lowest October temperature since 1940, according to the agency.
Mongolia has an extreme continental climate characterized by long, cold winters and short, hot summers. ■
