KHARTOUM, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Sudanese parliamentary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said in a statement Thursday that it had agreed to "enter into the humanitarian truce proposed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt."
The truce aims to "address the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of the ongoing civil war and enhance the protection of civilians," said the RSF. ■
