MANILA, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos declared a state of national calamity due to the impact of Typhoon Kalmaegi, local media reported Thursday.
Macros made the decision due to a widespread destruction caused by Kalmaegi and in preparation for the impact of a possible super typhoon. ■
