BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted the South Sandwich Islands region at 2203 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.2 km, was initially determined to be at 58.05 degrees south latitude and 25.2 degrees west longitude. ■
