BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 113 km west of Copiapo, Chile at 1551 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 24.9 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 27.45 degrees south latitude and 71.48 degrees west longitude. ■
