KABUL, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of Afghan youth joined the country's national army after completion of a three-month military training course, reported the state-run news agency Bakhtar on Friday.
The report didn't reveal the exact number of youth who graduated from the training course.
However, Afghan government's Defense Ministry spokesman Enayatullah Khwarizmi once counted the country's military strength as high as 150,000-strong forces, saying the government could increase the number up to 200,000 if needed. ■
