THE HAGUE, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Democrats 66 (D66) was leading in the Dutch parliamentary elections, according to a first exit poll published by Dutch public broadcaster NOS on Wednesday.
The D66 is projected to win 27 of the 150 seats in the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Dutch parliament. It is followed by the Party for Freedom (PVV) with 25 seats, and the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) in third with 23. The Green Left-Labor alliance is projected to win 20 seats. ■
