BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Head of Agency at Reuters Alphonse Hardel here on Tuesday.
Fu said Reuters is one of the earliest Western news agencies to establish a cooperative relationship with Xinhua. Over the years, the two agencies have achieved fruitful cooperation in areas such as news and information exchange.
Fu hoped that both sides will continue to cement mutually beneficial cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and shared benefits, and strengthen exchanges under mechanisms such as the World Media Summit.
Hardel said that both sides share common concerns in responsibly leveraging artificial intelligence to better empower such areas as news and communication. He also looked forward to continuing the successful partnership with Xinhua. ■
