ISLAMABAD, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's central bank foreign exchange reserves increased by 14 million U.S. dollars in a week's time, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
During the week ending on Oct. 17, the central bank's reserves stood at 14.46 billion dollars, the bank said in a statement.
Net foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at 5.40 billion dollars, the SBP added.
The country's total foreign exchange reserves stood at 19.85 billion dollars. ■
