RIYADH, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia's annual inflation rate was 2.2 percent in September 2025, compared with the same month a year earlier, the General Authority for Statistics said on Wednesday.
September's inflation edged down 0.1 percent from August, the statistics authority said, adding the easing reflected government efforts to maintain price stability despite global economic pressures.
Housing and utilities were the main contributors to inflation, reflecting regional patterns in which energy and real estate costs drive household spending.
Food and hospitality prices also rose moderately, the authority added, noting that targeted measures remain key to containing inflation without slowing growth. ■
