BEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted northern Chile at 1710 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 101.2 km, was initially determined to be at 20.22 degrees south latitude and 69.03 degrees west longitude. ■
