ALMATY, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan exported 60.5 million tons of oil between January and September 2025, up 14.9 percent year on year, the Kazinform news agency reported Tuesday, citing the country's Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov.
Speaking at a government meeting, Akkenzhenov said the national oil export plan for 2025 stands at 70.5 million tons.
During the reporting period, Kazakhstan produced 75.7 million tons of oil and gas condensate, up 13.2 percent year on year. The annual production target for 2025 is 96.2 million tons.
Production of liquefied petroleum gas reached 2.3 million tons, up 1.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
Output of refined petroleum products totaled 11.6 million tons, up 10.1 percent from the same period of 2024. The annual target is 13.7 million tons.
Also, the country's natural gas production reached 51.6 billion cubic meters in the first nine months, up 16.7 percent year on year. The 2025 target is 62.8 billion cubic meters. ■
