NEW DELHI, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Eight persons, including four children, belonging to two separate families were found dead in India's western state of Rajasthan, confirmed the police on Saturday.
In the first incident, decomposed dead bodies of a woman and her four children aged between 3 and 18 years, were found inside an apartment in the state's Sikar district.
According to their neighbors, the family's apartment was locked from inside for over a week and foul smell was coming out.
The neighbors called the police, and the apartment was opened. Packets of a suspected poisonous substance were found inside the apartment. The dead bodies were sent for post-mortem.
Separately, a 63-year-old man, his wife and their son were found dead in the state's capital city of Jaipur. The family lived in a rented house.
