BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 jolted 33 km ESE of Baculin, Philippines at 0143 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 23.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.39 degrees north latitude and 126.88 degrees east longitude. ■
