PARIS, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday morning accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu, the presidency announced.
Lecornu, appointed less than a month ago, stepped down after unveiling a largely unchanged cabinet lineup on Sunday that drew sharp criticism from across the political spectrum. ■
