KABUL, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Police have busted a nine-member gang of armed burglars in eastern Afghanistan's Logar province, provincial police spokesman Mawlawi Ahmadullah Anas said Monday.
The burglars were arrested red-handed when they sneaked into a house in Mohammad Agha district late Sunday to rob valuable appliances, the official said, adding police also recovered some stolen things from their possession.
All the arrested thieves have confessed to their crimes, the official said, noting police would hand them over to the judiciary for further investigation. ■
