ULAN BATOR, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign exchange reserves reached 5.9 billion U.S. dollars at the end of September, up 26 percent from the same period last year, data from the country's central bank showed Monday.
The Bank of Mongolia said in a statement that the country's forex reserves stood at 5.5 billion dollars at the end of December 2024.
The central bank aims to increase the reserves to 10 billion dollars over the long term. ■
