BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted off the east coast of Kamchatka at 1738 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 51.80 degrees north latitude and 160.04 degrees east longitude. ■
