HONG KONG, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Banda Sea at 13:49:50 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 149.7 km, was initially determined to be at 7.42 degrees south latitude and 128.34 degrees east longitude. ■
