TASHKENT, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The proportion of Uzbekistan's population using the internet has risen to 94.2 percent in the first eight months of 2025, the National Statistics Committee said Monday.
The figure climbed from 76.6 percent in 2021 to the current level, a 17.6 percent increase.
In September, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that Uzbekistan aims to join the ranks of upper-middle-income countries by 2030. ■
