JERUSALEM -- Israeli troops advanced further into Gaza City on Thursday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state before departing for New York to address the United Nations General Assembly.

SANAA/JERUSALEM -- At least eight people were killed and 142 others wounded on Thursday when Israel conducted multiple airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi-held capital Sanaa, Houthi-run health authorities said.

JERUSALEM -- The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) said Thursday it will partially reopen the main crossing between the occupied West Bank and Jordan for passenger traffic only, starting Friday morning.

The crossing, known in Israel as the Allenby Bridge and in Jordan as the Karama Bridge, is the principal gateway for Palestinians from the West Bank to travel abroad. It is also a key trade route for trucks transporting goods between Jordan and the West Bank. (Israel-West Bank-Crossing-Reopening)

BAGHDAD, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani on Thursday announced a deal under which the federal oil ministry will take crude produced in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region and export it through a pipeline to Türkiye.
