WARSAW, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Poland decided to reopen its border crossings with Belarus on midnight from Wednesday to Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday.
Due to the joint military exercise "Zapad-2025" held by Russia and Belarus from Sept. 12 to Sept. 16, Poland closed all border crossings with Belarus from midnight of Sept. 12.
When Poland decided to close the border with Belarus, Marcin Kierwinski, minister of the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration, has said that border traffic will be resumed only when the government is convinced that "the safety of Polish citizens is fully guaranteed." ■
