BAGHDAD -- Two members of Iraq's Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) were killed and an intelligence officer was wounded on Sunday in an explosion during a security operation in the western province of Anbar, the Iraqi military said.

The incident occurred at 3:00 p.m. local time (1200 GMT) when a joint force from the CTS and the Anbar intelligence and counterterrorism directorate was inspecting the site of a recent airstrike on hideouts of Islamic State (IS) militants in Anbar, according to a statement from the Security Media Cell, a media outlet affiliated with the Iraqi Joint Operations Command. JAKARTA -- Two of seven workers who had been trapped after a landslide struck the Grasberg Block Cave mine in Indonesia's Central Papua province on Sept. 8 have been found.

PT Freeport Indonesia, the company operating the mine, said in a statement on Monday that rescuers retrieved two bodies in the incident last Saturday and identified the victims who worked as electrical technicians from another company PT Cita Contract. (Indonesia-Landslide-Deaths)

MANILA -- A total of 216 individuals were arrested during anti-corruption protests on Sunday, Philippine Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla said Monday.
