JERUSALEM -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on Saturday that its air force struck around 100 targets throughout the Gaza Strip over the past day.

It added that among the targets were underground infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, and militant cells.

BEIRUT -- A Hezbollah activist was killed Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on a civilian car in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese officials and security sources.

The official Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car on the Khardali-Marjayoun road in the eastern sector of Lebanon's southern border area, killing a person from the village of Kafr Kila. (Lebanon-Israeli Strike)

ADEN, Yemen -- Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) on Saturday welcomed new Saudi economic support worth 1.38 billion Saudi riyals (about 368 million U.S. dollars) to help stabilize the country's fragile economy and advance local reforms.

PLC chief Rashad Al-Alimi said in a statement posted on social media platform X that the grant reflects Riyadh's "strong commitment to the Yemeni people and their aspirations for stability, peace, and development," noting that part of the funds will cover operating costs of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden.
