BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Road Safety Council has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening road safety and promoting social responsibility by organizing a blood donation campaign recently.
The council said the initiative is part of the national road safety campaign themed "Watch Your Speed, Watch the Road."
It not only aims to raise awareness of the importance of safe driving but also encourages the public to donate blood.
According to the council, the campaign reflects growing public support for road safety and the well-being of the community.
The initiative also sends a dual message: while donating blood can save lives, road users must also play their part by obeying traffic rules, reducing speed, and remaining cautious on the road. ■
