BISHKEK, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan's GDP totaled about 11.9 billion U.S. dollars in January through August, up 11 percent from the same period last year, official statistics showed Monday.
According to the National Statistical Committee, services accounted for 50.8 percent of GDP, goods production for 33.4 percent, and net taxes on products for 15.8 percent.
Industrial output rose 11.5 percent, led by a 15.5 percent jump in mining and a 10.8 percent gain in manufacturing.
The consumer price index was up 5.1 percent in the first eight months of the year compared with December 2024, the agency said. ■
