NEW DELHI, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Indian security forces gunned down three armed Naxals rebels in the country's eastern state of Jharkhand early on Monday, said a local police officer.
The incident took place in the state's Hazaribagh district. A search operation was still underway in the forested region to look out for more Naxals.
The killed Naxals included a top leader. ■
