JERUSALEM, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Two Israeli men were injured in a stabbing attack at a hotel near Jerusalem on Friday, Israel Police and the national emergency service Magen David Adom said in separate statements.
According to the police, an employee at the Tzuba Hotel in the village of Tzuba came out of the kitchen and stabbed two guests in the dining room.
The dining room manager, along with a police officer staying at the hotel, overpowered the attacker, and he was arrested, it said, adding that three other hotel employees were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, where the two wounded men were rushed, said one, aged 50, was in serious condition, and the other, aged 23, was moderately injured.
Israel's state-owned Kan TV reported that the suspect is a Palestinian resident of the Shuafat Palestinian refugee camp in East Jerusalem, who holds an Israeli ID card. ■
