NEW DELHI, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- India's newly elected Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan was sworn in on Friday in New Delhi. He won the vice presidential election on Tuesday.
President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to him in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders.
Radhakrishnan is India's 15th vice president. Till recently, he was the governor of the state of Maharashtra. ■
