MEXICO CITY -- At least 10 people were killed and over 40 others injured when a double-deck passenger bus was hit by a freight train in central Mexico on Monday, authorities said.

PRAGUE -- About 30 people were injured after a bus carrying students overturned in the Moravian-Silesian region of northeastern Czech Republic on Monday, police and rescuers said.

The accident happened in the morning in Stare Hamry. Regional fire rescue officials said all 32 students on the bus were injured. Citing rescuers, Czech Television reported that two adults were also hurt. It said most of the injuries were minor to moderate and no lives were at risk. JERUSALEM -- At least five people were killed on Monday when two gunmen opened fire on a bus near a busy junction, Israeli authorities said.
