KABUL, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Six passengers were killed and another was injured as a car collided with a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction in the eastern Ghazni province on Monday, provincial government spokesman Ezatullah Sayedi said.
Without providing more details, the official said that an investigation had been initiated to determine the cause of the deadly mishap.
At least 10 commuters have been killed and eight others sustained injuries due to road accidents over the past week in Afghanistan, and more than 100 over the past month. ■
