GAZA -- At least 50 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip by the Israeli army on Sunday, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported.
According to WAFA, 46 of the victims were in the northern part of the enclave.
Since dawn on Sunday, the Israeli army has "destroyed more than 50 buildings and partially damaged 100 others, including high-rise buildings housing thousands of citizens," Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said in a statement. (Gaza-Hamas-Israel)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthis group said Sunday it carried out eight drone attacks on Israel, including a strike on Ramon Airport in southern Israel that wounded several people earlier in the day.

JERUSALEM -- Israel is "seriously considering" a U.S. proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza that would also secure the release of Israeli hostages, an Israeli official said on Sunday.

ISTANBUL -- Five undocumented migrants were killed, one went missing, and another was injured on Sunday when their boat collided with a Coast Guard vessel off the coast of Türkiye's northwestern Balikesir province, local authorities said.
