BERLIN, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- A car crashed into a group of people in Germany's capital Berlin on Thursday, injuring several, including children, local media reported.
The incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. local time in the city's Wedding district, where several children sustained minor injuries and a caregiver was seriously wounded.
According to initial police findings, the car veered off the road, mounted the sidewalk and struck the group. The caregiver and three children were taken to hospital. The drive also suffered minor injuries.
A police spokesperson said there was no indication of a rampage or terrorist attack. ■
