ISLAMABAD, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) foreign exchange reserves rose by 28 million U.S. dollars, the bank said on Thursday.
In the week ending on Aug. 29, the SBP's foreign exchange reserves stood at 14.30 million U.S. dollars, the SBP said in a statement.
The net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at 5.35 million U.S. dollars, the statement added.
This brought the country's total liquid foreign reserves to 19.65 million U.S. dollars, the SBP noted. ■
