Israel says Hamas armed wing spokesman killed in Gaza strike

33 killed, over 2 mln affected in Pakistan's Punjab floods
At least 33 people were killed and over two million were affected as torrential rain triggered severe floods in parts of Pakistan's eastern Punjab province since the start of the week, said an official on Sunday.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Irfan Ali Kathia said that nearly half a million people have been moved to safe places as severe flooding continues to inundate vast areas of Punjab, adding that rescue and relief operations are continuing.■
