GENEVA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Football's global governing body FIFA announced on Thursday that it will host a four-day International Player Transfer Course from December 9 to 12 in Miami, designed to equip participants with practical tools and in-depth knowledge of how international transfers are executed.
Applications for the program opened on Thursday and will remain open until September 30. The course is aimed at professionals currently involved - or planning to be involved - in international player transfers, including club administrators, agents, intermediaries, and legal specialists.
Managing these transactions requires a detailed understanding of regulatory frameworks, documentation, and the step-by-step procedures of the process.
The course will combine lectures with hands-on practical exercises, offering participants insights into the global transfer system and helping them navigate its complexities with greater confidence. FIFA said the initiative is part of its broader commitment to professionalizing football administration and ensuring greater transparency and compliance in transfers. ■
