ULAN BATOR, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least one person has been killed and eight others injured in a multi-vehicle pile-up in Mongolia, the traffic police department said on Friday.
The accident occurred around midnight on Wednesday on a road near Bayankhoshuu traffic circle in Songinokhairkhan district of Ulan Bator, when an overloaded truck collided with five cars, the department said in a statement.
The injured people were hospitalized, it added.
The accident is currently under investigation. ■
