MADRID, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Mallorca has signed young forward Jan Virgili from FC Barcelona for a reported see of four million euros (4.5 million U.S. dollars).
The deal also sees Barcelona maintain part of the rights of the 19-year-old and a percentage of any future sale from the youngster, while the money from the sale will go towards helping the club comply with La Liga's financial regulations.
Virgili joined Barcelona from Gimnastic de Tarragona last summer for around one million euros. ■
