MADRID, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- News that Villarreal is on the verge of selling Spain international winger Yeremy Pino to Premier League outfit Crystal Palace means a new-look forward line at the club from Spain's east coast.

This summer began with Villarreal selling Alex Baena to Atletico Madrid before Thierno Barry moved to Everton, and now Pino's departure, coupled with Arnaut Danjuma's move to Valencia, means Marcelino Garcia Toral's team has completely changed its front three.

The sales of Pino, Baena and Barry have brought in around 120 million euros (140 million U.S. dollars) in revenue to the club.

Pino's imminent departure means Villarreal is now likely to move for former Girona striker Artem Dovbyk from Roma, with the Ukrainian striker looking to end a difficult spell at the Italian club, which he joined after ending the 2023-24 season as La Liga's top scorer with 24 goals.

The club is also close to closing deals for Arnau Tenas from Paris Saint-Germain and Canada international Tani Oluwaseyi from MLS side Minnesota United.

Meanwhile, Villarreal has brought in wingers Alberto Moleiro from Las Palmas and Tajon Buchanan from Inter Milan.
