TIANJIN, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Polina is a Russian graduate student at Nankai University in China's northern city of Tianjin. Having lived in the city since she was two years old, Polina is fluent in Chinese and even speaks the local Tianjin dialect. She enjoys exploring the rich diversity of Chinese cultures here while maintaining deep ties to her Russian roots.
