WARSAW, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with visiting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney here on Monday to discuss cooperation in strategic, economic and security fields.
Tusk said Poland needs "reliable partners ready for close cooperation" in nuclear and renewable energy, where Canada's experience would be valuable.
He added that contacts between the two countries are already close due to their shared interests.
The Polish prime minister said the two sides reiterated continued support for Ukraine.
According to a statement issued after the meeting, Poland and Canada will launch annual bilateral consultations to implement their enhanced strategic partnership. ■
