NEW DELHI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- India and Fiji on Monday signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in several fields in New Delhi during the visit of Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, announced India's Ministry of External Affairs.
The MoUs, ranging from areas such as medicines, sports, human skills, agricultural research, banking, to commerce and business, were signed in the presence of both prime ministers of India and Fiji.
An MoU was signed for design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a super-specialty hospital in Fiji, besides an agreement on the supply of medicines to Fiji.
MoUs were also signed on cooperation in the fields of standardization, human capacity skilling and upskilling, besides a Declaration of Intent on migration and mobility, said the Indian ministry. ■
