SEOUL -- Two railway workers were killed and five others were injured on Tuesday after being hit by a train in southeastern South Korea, according to Yonhap news agency.

The passenger train struck seven railway workers, who had been moving to inspect structures on a slope near tracks in the southeastern city of Cheongdo, at about 10:50 a.m. local time (0150 GMT). (South Korea-Train Accident)

NEW DELHI -- Incessant rains continued to batter India's financial hub Mumbai and its nearby areas on Tuesday, even as over 250 flights were either delayed or cancelled, trains ran late, and vehicular traffic was adversely affected amid intense waterlogging on roads and streets.

Several vehicles broken down in knee-deep to waist-deep water could be seen on roads in several areas across Mumbai. ISLAMABAD -- A total of 46 people have been killed in monsoon rains during the last 24 hours, raising the death toll of rain-related deaths to 393 in Pakistan since Thursday, the country's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Tuesday.
